Titus: A People Ready for Good

Explore the relationship between trustworthy teaching, God's saving mercy and a life ready for good works.

Follow Titus from church oversight and the challenge of disruptive teaching into household relationships, public gentleness and practical support. Consider how the letter distinguishes the source of salvation from the conduct that grows out of it. Its account of grace gives a setting for instructions about responsibility, generosity and useful work, helping you read doctrine and conduct together.

Three chapter sessions offer original contextual notes, smaller reading movements and passage-specific observation, interpretation, response and prayer prompts. Two section reviews draw connections between truth, public conduct, mercy and fruitful service. Generous ruled writing space makes room for questions about leadership, difficult social settings and the present-day implications of the text.

Designed for adult individual study and adaptable small-group use. Read the whole letter, return to its repeated themes and bring your own Bible and a pen.
