2 Timothy: Guard the Good Trust

Consider what faithfulness looks like when support is costly, teaching must be entrusted to others and a familiar voice may soon be absent.

Read 2 Timothy with attention to memory, courage, endurance and the ordinary acts of friendship surrounding its public charges. Follow the letter's appeals to guard the good trust, handle teaching responsibly and correct opponents with gentleness. The final requests for companionship, a cloak and books keep its call to perseverance grounded in personal relationships and practical need.

Four chapter sessions guide you through the whole letter with original contextual notes, reading movements and passage-specific questions for observation, interpretation, response and prayer. Two section reviews connect trustworthy teaching with the manner of the teacher and the responsibilities of service. Generous ruled writing space supports reflection, questions and prayer.

Designed for adult individual study and adaptable small-group use. Bring your own Bible and a pen, and take time with both the familiar charges and the quieter personal details.
